In our PLANNED INTERACTIVE LEARNING RESOURCE, our theme is “How to teach people to learn Chinese characters”, and through our PLANNED EDUCATIONAL METHODS, we will ensure that we meet the different needs of different learners through diversified educational methods.
In our INTERACTIVE LEARNING RESOURCE, we use different learning websites, as well as assisting teaching by providing learners with a variety of TOPICAL Chinese character teaching videos. This multi-dimensional approach allows us to meet different teaching needs, and we can even easily derive from this an alternative learning solution for different emergencies.
For example, like the just-ended Coivd period, most people could only stay at home and were not allowed to go out. In this case, people could not leave their homes to attend face-to-face lectures, but through our website-based lectures and video-assisted lectures, we were able to realize remote Chinese teaching. By accessing social media such as Youtube, learners can easily find our recommended Chinese character learning videos, and through our video learning program for learners, learners can achieve distance learning at home.
However, our blueprint has the same barriers that learners may encounter, that is, learners may get lost in the process of learning through videos, or they may be overly engrossed in the content of the videos and fail to memorize the knowledge in the videos; moreover, learners who only learn Chinese characters through videos may forget the characters due to the lack of repeated paper-based training. In this case, we can train the learners and deepen their impression of the characters by issuing quizs to them, for example, using Kahoot to test the learners’ progress, and creating a strict syllabus to ensure the results of the lessons.
