Q1:How does social media engage communications?
In my personal point of view, by joining the social media, people can actually increase communications. By participating in the social media, professionals can share their ideas and exchange knowledge with other professionals. This would build a positive platform which could nurture more communications among people. Nonetheless, some social media like Wechat and Discord have the server that can hold miilions of people online at the same time. By joining those social media, people can communicate and exchange messages through the platform with groups and friends.
Q2: How does social media challenge communications?
As social media nurtures communications, by joining social meida, it can, on other hand, also challenge communications. Since people cannot communicate face to face on internet, there maybe some harmful information that jeopardize the platform, even influence the identical security. For example, nowadays, internet online shopping becomes more and more popular. Some people can trade with fake or used goods for money, some can even cause telecommunication fraud.
Q3: Is it inclusive?
To depend whether social media is inclusive or not, we have to first analyse the whole internet environment. First of all, using social media do help people share and exchange various ideas and knowledge. For example, the free downloadable source code of “Stable Diffusion” is one good prove of the inclusivity of the social media and internet. But on the other hand, the insecure environment for personal information on the internet could cause serious issue, which proves the non-inclusiveness of social media.
Q4:Does your PLN amplify the views of others?
The answer of this will probably be yes. By taking the opinions of others and share ideas with others can nurture my PLN and help build a healthy learning environment.

My new thinking after reading your post is that social media can both engage and challenge communications. By joining social media, professionals can share ideas and exchange knowledge with others, building a positive platform for communication. However, the lack of face-to-face communication on the internet can also lead to harmful information and jeopardize the platform.
In terms of inclusivity, I think it depends on the internet environment. While social media can help people share and exchange ideas and knowledge, there are also concerns about the security of personal information on the internet.
I agree with the idea that a personal learning network (PLN) can amplify the views of others. By taking into account the opinions of others and sharing ideas, individuals can nurture their PLN and build a healthy learning environment.
Something I am wondering after reading your post is how individuals can effectively navigate the challenges of communication on social media while still reaping its benefits.

I especially agree with your sentence “some can even cause telecommunications fraud.” Every day I recite a few calls from strangers to harass me. I have tried to answer these harassing calls before, all of them are scam people pretending to be fido or cibc. As a result, whenever I encountered a phone number I hadn’t seen before, I subconsciously refused to answer it.
